See our eventsProfessor Jane Cummings CBE RN. is the former Chief Nursing Officer for England, and she was responsible for the invention of the 6 Cs of nursing: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment. Jane has been awarded doctorates by Edge Hill University, Bucks New University and Bradford University; she is a visiting professor at Kingston University and St George’s University, London. Jane is also a trustee for Macmillan Cancer Support, a trustee for CHSA, Chair of the RCN Foundation, Clinical Ambassador for the Over the Wall Children’s Charity and a NED at NHS Gloucestershire. Tendable are delighted to have Jane as a specialist advisor, bringing her significant expertise and experience to our product, community, and engagement with our customers.
Doctor Patricia is the former Chief Quality Officer, and she started her career at Nottingham University, after gaining a 1st class degree in Human Biology at Loughborough University. She then, went on to focus her PhD and career in quality standards and patient safety, with over 20 peer-reviewed publications. Patricia spent 5 years at what was, the Commission for Healthcare improvement, now CQC, working on improving the efficiency of the inspection process, international patient safety solutions and as an inspector. She then went on to work in aligning health informatics and quality standards, turning around EPR implementations and Trusts in special measures. Tendable are delighted to have Patricia as an advisor, we value her insight and expertise in combining quality and informatics in our solutions and our implementation approach.
Mike Farrar currently works as a management consultant with 15 years of CEO experience working within the NHS. His roles within the NHS have included Chief Executive of West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Strategic Health Authorities, Chief Executive of Tees Valley Health Authority and Head of Primary Care at the Department of Health (United Kingdom). During his time at the Department of Health, Mike was responsible for establishing Primary Care Groups, Primary Care Trusts, and PMS. In addition, he chaired the NHS Confederation GP Contract negotiating team that successfully negotiated the new General Medical Service contract and is the National Programme Director of NHS Live. Tendable are delighted to have Mike as a specialist advisor, bringing his valued expertise and vast experience to our solution.
Milly is our Country Ambassador for South Africa at Tendable. She has 20 years’ experience as a partner at PwC, South Africa. Milly also holds 11 years of experience as a Healthcare industry advisory leader, 8 years in finance transformation and public sector advisory services. Healthcare is a key priority for Milly. Her aim is to create a meaningful impact and her motivation is to help people through leadership and transformation. Milly has served as a trustee on the board of the PwC SA staff provident fund, a board member of the PwC governing board and an Africa ethics and business conduct leader. She has gained exposure in both the private and public sector including hospital groups, pharmaceutical companies, and medical schemes. We are so pleased to have Milly as a specialist advisor bringing her vast experience and expertise to support us as we continue to grow.
