I keep receiving a location setting error, what do I do?

For iOS devices:

  1. Go to Settings on your device.
  2. Scroll down to your list of apps and find Tendable.
  3. Tap on Tendable.
  4. Tap Location, and under Allow Location Access, select While Using the App.

For Android devices:

  1. Go to Settings on your device.
  2. Tap Location, then App access to location.
  3. Find Tendable in your list of apps.
  4. Tap Allow while using the app.

You will now be able to start an inspection on the Tendable app without any location setting errors.

How are the scores calculated?

Each question is scored between 0 and 1 with the best answer scoring 1 and the worst scoring 0. Some questions will have a wider range of answers, and these will score in between e.g. 0.5. The scores for each question are added up and shown as a percentage of the best possible score relevant for the area – if any questions are excluded or answered as “N/A” then these will be excluded from the scoring.

Can I share information with people who don’t have the app?

Yes, historical reports, monthly organisation PDF reports, and monthly area PDF reports can be shared via your device, or directly emailed to your registered email address. To do this, click the share icon in the top right corner in the mobile app.

From the Web Portal, you can also download PDFs of these reports, as well as export your list of actions. Additionally, the Analytics Dashboards in the Web Portal also allows you to export individual charts and their data as CSV, PDF, PowerPoint, or Word documents.

Can the questions/guidance be changed?

Yes, the Tendable lead at your organisation is able to request question changes at any time. If you notice an error or simply feel an audit could be improved, then please contact them with your comments.

Help, the app isn’t working! What should I do?

This could be for a variety of reasons, try the following:

  1. Check your internet connection – you need an internet connection to start and submit an inspection as well as view reports.
  2. Check you are using a version of the app that is compatible with your device. You may need to update your operating system or download the latest version of the app.
  3. Make sure you’ve given the Tendable app permission to access your camera and location.
  4. Clear the cache (under Settings > Advanced settings).

Relaunch the app (close it down completely then relaunch).

Do I have to be connected to the internet when using the Tendable app?

The Tendable app has been designed to work while connected to the internet, sharing live data with other users within your organisation. However, if you lose internet connection suddenly during an inspection, don’t worry. You can still complete the inspection and save it as a draft. Inspection drafts can be cached to an individual device if internet is not available. Once you reconnect to the internet, you can upload and submit your inspection.

Can I share a device with another user?

Yes! As long as you have separate login credentials, you can both use the same device to log into Tendable at different times.

Why have I been logged out?

For the purposes of information security, your login will be timed out after a period of inactivity. Simply enter your password to log in again.

You can also choose to log out at this point, but that will lead to any in-progress or unsaved work being lost, with the exception of an unfinished inspection, which will automatically be saved as a draft on your device.

Can I log in on more than one device at once?

Yes you can, and you can do so without worrying that information will be lost. Actions you can perform in the app, such as adding inspection data, adding details to actions, saving drafts, etc. are all handled server-side. This means that as long as you’re connected to the internet, data should be accessible across devices you’re logged into.

I’ve forgotten my password, what do I do?

Select Forgot your password? on the login screen and you will be prompted to enter your email so that a password reset link can be sent to you. Once you receive the email, follow the link to reset your password.

I can’t log in, what do I do?

If you’re having trouble logging in to the Tendable mobile app or Web Portal, please double check that you have entered your email address and password correctly, as well as selected the correct country. If you suspect you might have the wrong password, select the Forgot password option.

How can I access the Tendable Web Portal?

You can access the Web Portal by clicking Sign In on our website, or at https://web.tendable.com/login. The Web Portal allows you to view and progress actions, access your Analytics Dashboards, and provides a gateway to the Knowledge Base. You can log in with your existing credentials (email and password).

What information do I use to log into the Tendable mobile app?

The first time you log in, you will have to select your country, and enter the email address and password you registered with.

If you have logged in before, the device will remember you, and you can select your profile from the quick login bubbles. That way, you don’t have to re-enter your email, and you’ll only need to enter your password to log in.

What happens once I’ve registered? Can I use the Tendable app straight away?

After you have registered for an account, your account will have to be approved by your organisation before you can log in. You will receive an email once your registration has been approved, at which point you will be able to log in.

What is the Organisation code and how do I get it?

Your Organisation code is unique to your organisation and is required for registration. If you don’t know your organisation’s code, you can ask other users at your organisation (it is displayed on each user’s Profile screen) or from printed QR code sheets used for starting inspections.

How do I register to use the Tendable app?

  1. Once you have downloaded the app, launch it, and tap Register Now.
  2. Fill in the registration form. You will be asked for details such as your name, email, and phone number.
  3. You’ll need your organisation code to register.
  4. Once you have filled in all the required information, click Register.

Where is my information stored, and how is it kept secure?

Tendable uses an SSL encrypted connection for data transfer. We use SHA-2 and 2048 bit encryption, the strongest on the market. Data is stored in the cloud on servers physically located within the European Union, which comply with the European legislation regarding data privacy.

What information can I find in the Web Portal?

The Tendable Web Portal can be used to view and manage actions across your organisation. You can use various filters to sort and search for specific actions, progress them, or download an actions list. You can also search, filter, and download all your PDF reports, adjust your system settings, and access the Tendable Knowledge Base.

Also accessible from the Web Portal are the Tendable Analytics Dashboards, which give users a real-time view of inspection performance and compliance across various levels of the organisation. This will provide data-driven insight to help organisations identify and assess areas of risk and make informed decisions to improve quality across the wider organisation.

You can login using the same details as you do for the Tendable mobile app.

Can you tailor audits especially for my organisation?

Is the Tendable app and Web Portal supported on my device/browser?

The current version of the Tendable mobile app is supported for use on the latest version plus the two preceding versions of the iOS/Android operating system (OS).

The Web Portal is supported on the latest version plus the two preceding versions of all main browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari; it is also supported on Internet Explorer version 11.

Why has your name changed from Perfect Ward?

Over the past 6 years, Perfect Ward has grown from an app developed in one acute hospital in the south of England, to a solution used across three different continents in a wide range of health and social care organisations. Even in an acute hospital, the name “Perfect Ward” didn’t accurately describe what we do, because the solution can also be used for a whole range of applications for quality assurance and improvement beyond the ward. For example Care Homes, Emergency Departments, Theatres, Outpatients Clinics and any setting where you may want to assure and improve quality. For that reason, and to further support our expanding use cases and global community, we are becoming Tendable on 1 st December 2021.

Where did Tendable come from?

We have been working with our brand agency to create our new brand identity. A range of customers, partners and our internal team were interviewed to get under the skin of how people think about our solutions and how we operate as an organisation. This research culminated in a very clear distillation of what we stand for and how we want to be seen by our customers and wider community. We are delighted with our new name: Tendable.

Is Tendable a real word?

How is Tendable different to Perfect Ward?

Tendable is an evolution and now offers customers an enterprise solution from the frontline to the board across three core areas:

As a current customer what do I need to do?

As a valued customer, you are a member of an increasingly diverse and expanding global community. This is the driving force for changing our name to Tendable. Our name is changing, our commitment to outstanding service and support remains constant. Key points for you to look out for and share with your team are:

  • You will need to ensure you have the latest version of the new app, so download from the App Store or Google Play Store to your mobile device. If you have a business device the update may be sent via your IT team.

  • When the update is applied, the app name and icon will change. Please look out for the 't' icon – similar to this, please note Icons will vary depending on device manufacturer.

Is the url changing?
